Joshie's shirt maker tells him that Harold Evans is a most charming and down-to-earth individual. Exactly what one would expect in fact from a Salford lad. However, unlike most of his fellow citizens, he is utterly untouched by any form of anti-Semitism. I expect that comes, at least in part, from living in an enlightened nation like the U.S. for so many years.
