What do you expect after 30 years of political correctness.

As my great-grandmother might have put it: "Such a ponim!"

More likely she would have said: "Ale yevonim hobn eyn ponim."

Shimon X, the Mossad operative in charge of taking over the Liberal Democrats, has just sent me a photograph of Aishah Azmi in an unveiled state. I now can understand why she is so keen on keeping her face covered.

Please be advised that this photograph is not for those of a delicate disposition and should not be shown to children or Englishmen under the age of 40 in any circumstances.

Actually, Joshua, Yasmin Alibhai-Brown has spoken up repeatedly against the veil, against the burqua and against any suggestion of Sharia law in Britain. Your posting is ever so funny (not!) but I do think that you should give some credit where it is due.

It does not surprise me that someone in desperate need of a humour transplant would rush to the Yazzperson's defence.

I do hope for her husband's/boyfriend's/girlfriend's sake that Helen is not this literal about everything.

I've heard from an excellent source that she is extremely attractive though, so I'll forgive her just this once for this impetuous attack on Joshie's unblemished reputation.

(I would advise everyone to visit Helen's blog and read her excellent post on the Mohammed Al-Dura scandal.)
