The Guardian's front page on 9/11: don't bother

(THis image is from Disturbingly Yellow.)

Five years after 9/11, here's how the Guardian's front page commemorated it:

With Nicole Kidman. Yes, Ms Kidman is admirably sound on terror but somehow one doubts that the Guardian had that in mind when deciding that the anniversary of 9/11 wasn't worth putting on the front page.

(An earlier version of this post had some lines in the wrong order.)

You messed up your lines. The one that should have been first after the pic came in last.

Which is funny, but not nearly as hilarious as the crazed blindness of the Grannyad.

I think the Guardian's headline really says:

La la la la I can't hear you la la la poverty root causes la la la

The fact that they don't want to even acknowledge that 9/11 happened shows how much it threatens their worldview.
