Black and white or green?
» Posted on August 15, 2006 03:18 AM » Category:

I've had a fair number of people tell me they find the colour scheme of this blog tiring on their eyes. So I'd like to sound readers out about what they think. If I change, I propose to move to a basic black and white - much like the print version, as accessed by the button on the left.

So what do you think?

The green is tough going, yes. The b/w is easier to read.

No, no, no - the green is wonderful, it identifies you, it's not done by anyone else - don't listen to the others.

Why limit yourself to green or black and white? There are plenty of other (better) colours out there. Please add another option entitled None of the above.

This is the kind of thing you need

An important and unconventional bloke needs an important-looking and unconventional website.

You should follow your own instincts. Some prefer black and white for clarity, whilst others prefer colour to add depth. I quite like the hooters, I used to have a similar one on a bicycle I once owned.

You're right - the hooters are great and the mush [is this how 'face' is spelt?] in the top corner as well.

Is this proposed switch to Tottenham's colours intended as a celebration of the start of the new season?

I like the green. The posts are never too long and the fonts appear large enough so my eyes don't seem to be affected by the colourscheme but by looking at the screen all day :)

Black and white is briliant.
