Rockets fired at Israel don't matter

Maybe I've missed it elsewhere, but the BBC seems not to consider that the 160 Hezbollah rockets fired at Israel are not worth an entry even in 'other developments' here.

But then, how could they continue to call Israel's actions 'excessive' and 'disproportionate' if they were to actually report about this huge number of rocket attacks by Hezbollah?

You're right the BBC usually ignores the thousands of Hezb'Allah rockets which are landing in Israel - the only time the number gets a mention is in order to cast doubt on the success of the Israeli military campaign.

Until the BBC send John Simpson to northern Israel to file reports after being on the receiving end of a Hezbollah rocket barrage, or until he is forced to spend a few days in a bomb shelter, I don't think we can expect any change in the editorial line or reporting content.
