Glad to see comments are back.

Stephen, I know it's your blog and all that but you really can't go putting the comments on and then taking them off at whim, just because you don't like the views expressed therein. Yes, yes, it's your blog and you can do as you wish but don't forget there's a hungry public out here who'd like to interact with you. The majority were drawn to your blog because of the elevated nature of the discussion - is it necesary to play school teacher with them?

Eh? I've done nothing of the sort. I stopped having comments because the time involved in checking them for the many libellous and racist remarks was too onerous. A week ago I decided to gove it another try, I have never and would never remove a remark simply because I disagreed with it. But if the idiots take over again and start lebelling people, or posting their racist views, I will unhesitatingly drop all comments. Life's too short.

Your post about Tony Snow doesn't allow comments though...

Yay! Not that I am especially keen to comment on that, but I thought perhaps that was what James was referring to!
