UPDATE: One of my commenters says I am too soon to include the story of Mr Blunkett's relationship with Kimberly Fortier. Be amazed...Be very amazed! (Today's Mail has 4,500 words on that subject. And there are plenty more in the book itself.)

So I suppose the draft of the Chapter titled "The Prime Ministerial Years" is now in the shredder. Gordon it is.
This is probably an amazingly stupid question, so you can chalk it up to me being an American- that usually suffices to explain general stupidity among Europeans and little islands right off Europe: are you planning to do any book signings or lectures in the US?
And yes I realize the absurdity of the question on asking whether you'd be doing a lecture circuit on a semi-obscure politician even in the UK. But you never know, I've heard of book signings for Swedish Social model books, why not this.
With the black background and staid look, I can only assume you approve wholeheartedly of Mr. Blunkett and that this is a hagio-biography stuffed to the gills with qualifiers like "wonderful" and "handsome" and "genius policy maker" in it. On the offhand chance this isn't the case, what are the chances you'll do some juicy excerpts on My. Blunkett's fondness for goat herds dressed in leiderhosen here on the site of your loyal minions and cronies?
Think of us as penitants in limbo. You can whet appetites and maybe sell enough to become a multi-hundredaire.
Was just going to concur with those above. This book release has come at a cracking time and no doubt will rise up the best selling list.
In fact maybe Mr Blunkett should gain some of the royalties!!

Yep, Stephen and publisher got this one timed about perfect. I think you could say its every biographer's dream to have their subject all over the news just when their book drops.
