I'm back
I'm back now (just about) in the land of the living. Flu, an infection behind my ear drum and all sorts of grizzly illnesses combined to wipe me off the face of the planet for most of the past week. But I can now manage to get to my pc, which means that I am, to all intents and purposes, alive again.
Just to keep you posted, Spring Dawn finished third last week. Disappointing but some mitigating circumstances. For various farcical reasons they roped off three of the eight hurdles and since jumping is his forte, he effectively had no chance. It was obvious from the start that his heart wasn't in it - he had none of the sparkle which he usually shows. And being beaten seven lengths should help his handicap mark.
His next run is due on New Year's Day at Exeter.
